Like everyone else, Grandma occasionally likes to dream about great vacations.
In her younger days, vacation spots included beaches in summer and ski slopes
in winter; horseback riding in the fall and golfing and tennis in the spring.
But now that she's an old lady (senior citizen to those of you who are fussy
about terminology), she prefers quiet little spots in the country, preferably
near mountain streams. There's something about the combination of mountains,
trees, clear air, and running water that just seems to refresh the soul, and
brings her closer to God. That, of course, is where she's happiest.
If you have a java-enabled browser, then here in Grandma's Hideaway, you can
see some of the places Grandma would love to visit if she had either the money
to do so or any idea where such places might exist in reality. You can move
from one hideaway to the next using the "Next" button at the bottom of the page,
or you can use the menu tree at the left. All the applets are listed in the Hideaways menu. Enjoy!
